 The Clean Truck Check HD I/M Program requires heavy-duty trucks to undergo inspection and maintenance to ensure compliance with emission standards and reduce pollution. 

 Almost all non-gasoline heavy-duty vehicles with a GVWR over 14,000 lbs. that operate in CA must be compliant with Clean Truck Check. Out of state vehicles have the same compliance requirements as California registered vehicles.
